2012 Jim Glenn for State Representative
The 13th Kentucky legislative district has historically been a conservative leaning district. The current state senator is a Republican, as well as the local Congressman. Democrats have always had a tough time getting elected in Owensboro. In 2012 State Representative Jim Glenn faced a tough challenge from a conservative candidate who was strongly backed by the local and state Republican parties, including receiving funding from the U.S Senate Republican leader.
Valentin Consulting was brought in to plan and implement a hard-hitting mail program that would highlight Representative Glenn’s strong record of fighting for the families of Owensboro, while showing how his opponent’s extreme conservative views would hurt Kentucky families.
Valentin Consulting implemented a mail plan and a phone operation that helped contribute to a victory in a district that saw President Obama lose by 20% points. State Representative Glenn received 51% of votes casted in his race.
